Alec Baldwin is in big trouble. He might have been planning to murder someone after all. On Thursday, Santa Fe police obtained a search warrant for the actor’s phone and are investigating if he had any involvement with cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ death last October 21st. Police are trying to determine how a live round ended up in his gun.
This may just be the police crossing their Ts and dot their eyes, or they may have found something more. They will want to check his phone to make sure there was no back and forward between him and the director or anyone else who could have been involved.
The warrant says Baldwin’s weapon of choice was a Colt .45 pistol. The actor said the film’s armorer communicated through emails about what type to use for the film. Baldwin claims he knows nothing about guns.
