The Bible says that Jesus is coming back. We know this article will immediately discredit us with many. But tolerate us merely speaking hypothetically; what does that mean? Will some of us be going to heaven and some of us be going to hell? What happens if Jesus comes back and if Revelations happens? These are all questions that we will explore.

What will happen if Jesus comes?

The Bible says that Jesus is coming back. We know this article will immediately discredit us with many. But tolerate us merely speaking hypothetically; what does that mean? Will some of us be going to heaven and some of us be going to hell? What happens if Jesus comes back and if Revelations happens? These are all questions that we will explore.

What the Bible says about Jesus’ return
The Bible is very clear that Jesus is coming back. Matthew 24:30-31 says: “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

So what does this mean?
Well, when Jesus comes back, He will come in the clouds with power and glory. He will gather His elect from all over the world. And those who have not accepted Him will mourn. Is this a vengeance tour? A test of belief? How do we comprehend this happening?

What happens to those who have not accepted Jesus?
Is the Bible clear that those who have not accepted Jesus as their Savior will go to hell? Is that what the loving Jesus would do? In Matthew 25:46, it says “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Hell is a real place, and it is an eternal separation from God. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, you will go to hell when you die.

What happens to those who have accepted Jesus?
Those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior will go to heaven when they die. In John 14:2-3, it says “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” So when we die, we will go to be with Jesus in Heaven.

It’s hard to think an awesome God would have such punitive punishment for dumb humans. There is so much deceit; how could he expect us to get it right? However, we are off the hook if the sky fairy theory is not real. No one knows when or if Jesus is coming back. But we need to be prepared if he is. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, now is the time to do so. If you have already accepted Him, then make sure you are living your life according to His Word. (or not)

Good luck out there!
