It’s a sobering thought. A modern-day holocaust, right in the heart of civilization. It’s hard to imagine such a thing happening, but it’s not impossible. In fact, it’s quite possible, and would we be ready for it?
What would cause such a thing to happen? There could be any number of reasons. An elite group could hijack government organizations and also produce a product the government organization would approve. Food or drug could be contaminated with a destructive element, and millions of people could die before anyone even realized what was happening. Or, the media could cover up a major disaster, like bad food or drugs killing people, until it’s too late.
The danger is real, and we need to be prepared for it. We need to have plans in place for how we will protect ourselves if something like this happens. This event may not be as bold as the Nazi Holocaust. Would this situation be noticeable right away and cause panic? It may not be. We need to have food and water stored up and know what to do if we find ourselves in the middle of a crisis.
It’s important to remember that these things can happen, and we need to be prepared for them. We can’t let ourselves become complacent just because it seems unthinkable that something like this could happen here in our own backyard. The next holocaust could be right around the corner, and we need to be ready for it.
