The 1998 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series had a strong field of drivers. Drivers like Ron Hornaday Jr, Rick Crawford, Stacy Compton, Jack Sprague, Tony Raines, Joe Ruttman, Mike Bliss, Andy Houston, Terry Cook, Rick Carelli, Jay Souter, and Boris Said. Many of these drivers also ran in Cup Series races later on in their careers.
