Family values have been under attack over recent years. It has become quite clear the media narrative is fighting against the traditional family. One example is critics loving the show Yellowstone’s Prequel 1883. However, the prominent boo-hoo critics say the show is too conservative.
The deeper question is, why are critics fighting against family values?
Family support is important now as well as any time in history. We live in uncertain times where there is no telling what can happen next in life or at any moment. It doesn’t matter if you’re a single mother raising children alone or grandparents caring deeply about their grandchildrens’ lives; these people deserve love and support just like anyone else.
One of the most important aspects of a prosperous society is family values. Family members support each other, especially when times get tough. So why wouldn’t we do everything we can to promote these traits and never let them fade away from within us.
Nevertheless, the current state of affairs may discourage anyone from solid family traditions. How can family values succeed with so much negativity? As generations grow into responsible adults who continue perpetuating good habits, we will see how the family unit evolves.
As for the groups who oppose family values, one may feel sorry for them. They may not have grown up with parents who loved them. They may come from broken homes. So it would make sense that they do not understand or respect traditional families.
