The Miners (2-3) outgained the Broncos 148-53 in the first half but UTEP didn’t take the lead 2:10 remaining in the second quarter. UTEP’s first victory over Boise State. The Broncos lead the series 6-1. This loss may make Boise State re-evaluate after this loss.

It was an impressive victory for UTEP, which had been struggling as of late. They showed a lot of heart and determination in this game, and it paid off in the end. Boise State is usually a powerhouse in the Mountain West Conference, but UTEP was able to take them down. This win will give the Miners much confidence in the future, and they will be looking to build on this win.
