A few months ago, I would have been the first person to tell you that vaccines are a load of crap. I didn’t want anything to do with them, and I thought that the whole idea of injecting yourself with a weakened form of a virus or experimental vaccine was absurd. But then, something happened that changed my mind completely. I bought $400,000 worth of Moderna stock. And now, I am fully on board with getting vaccinated. In fact, I even hope that everyone else gets vaccinated too!

Each time the vaccine is purchased, I hear cash register sounds in my head. The reason for my change of heart is simple: money. As soon as I invested in Moderna, I became very interested in the success of their vaccine program. And the best way for their vaccine to be successful is for as many people as possible to get vaccinated. So now, I am OK with invasive vaccine mandates for children, employers, and even the government. What’s good for Moderna is good for my retirement fund.

Some people might say that this kind of behavior is unethical. But I’m afraid I have to disagree. I think it is perfectly ethical. After all, the government has been pushing vaccines pretty hard recently. So if the government is behind something, then it must be OK, right? Besides, I’m not doing anything that other people aren’t already doing. Everyone knows that you must look out for yourself first and foremost when it comes to investing.

A change of heart is OK, and it’s OK that I used to be anti-vaccine. And now, it is great that I am fully supportive of mandatory vaccines, thanks to my investment. Some people might think this behavior is unethical, but I say, “why don’t you buy pharmaceutical stock?” When investing and views on vaccines, you must look out for yourself, and that’s exactly what I’m doing.
