After trans

What is the next trend after trans?

The next trend after trans is anything but conventional. From genderqueers, to pansexuals and everything in between- these days it’s all about identity politics. Transgender and nonconforming identities are in and new. However they have always been around. But they are the hot topic for western societies and are at the forefront of the media agenda. But what has always existed as an undercurrent of society certainly makes its way into the forefront now with this new wave. We’re living history here on planet Earth so let’s explore what fad may be next.

The trans-humanist trend will take us to a new era of humanity and animals mixed together. Making the South Park episode where Gerald gets dolphin surgery much more realistic. Gone are the days when it is revolutionary for Mr. Garrison to get a sex change operation, to become a woman. That is old news and an everyday procedure.

While these silver lining stories show how much progress there is in society at large when it comes down to accepting different lifestyles. Even if they’re still discouraged in some circles by religious fundamentalists who refuse any form or recognition outside their own culture, the point is genetic, and body modification will become the new mainstream trend. The government and private labs have been experimenting with animal-human hybrids for years. In fact, the science of this experiment is not yet fully understood, and there are many who believe it will be a success.

Japanese scientists have received government support for the first time in history to create animal embryos with human cells and transplant them into surrogate animals. This landmark development comes after a ban on such practices was recently lifted, which will allow researchers more access than ever before. The research combined humans as well as other species like mice or pigs, who also possess similar traits but should not be considered replaceable due to their differing structures.

The human-animal hybrid movement is more than speculation, and with it, the possibilities for what this new era of humanity will bring. As we learn more about how to combine the best of both worlds, we open up a world of potential that could change everything we know about ourselves and animals. What do you think of the possibility of human hybrid people? Do you see any benefits or drawbacks to this idea?
