UFO transition point entering ocean, deep ocean resident habitat showing underwater city, surface view with ships, craft air-sea interface, mysterious deep ocean creatures

71% of the Planet Is Water. And We’ve Explored Less Than 5% of It.

“How inappropriate to call this planet ‘Earth,’ when it is clearly ‘Ocean.'”

Arthur C. Clarke said that. And he was right.

Look at a globe. What do you see? Blue.

Oceans cover 71% of the planet’s surface. The Pacific Ocean alone is larger than all the land on Earth combined.

We call our planet “Earth.” But that’s a joke. If aliens were naming it from space, they’d call it “Water” or “Ocean” or “That Blue One.”

And here’s the thing nobody talks about: We’ve explored less than 5% of it.

We know more about the surface of Mars than we do about the bottom of our own ocean. We’ve mapped more of the Moon than the ocean floor.

And yet, we act like we know what’s down there.

What if we don’t? What if something—someone—has been living in the 95% we haven’t seen?

What if the UFOs everyone’s been seeing aren’t coming from space at all?

What if they’ve been here the whole time? Living in the ocean?

The Ocean Is Incomprehensibly Massive

Total ocean volume: 1.335 billion cubic kilometers. That’s 352 quintillion gallons of water.

To put that in human terms: If you tried to drain the ocean one gallon at a time, one gallon per second, it would take 11 billion years to empty it. The universe is only 13.8 billion years old.

The Mariana Trench—the deepest part of the ocean—is 36,000 feet deep. Almost 7 miles straight down. If you dropped Mount Everest into it, the peak would still be a mile underwater.

At that depth: Pressure is 1,000x surface pressure. Pitch black. Near freezing. We’ve only been there a handful of times.

Humans have spent more time on the Moon than in the deep ocean.

UFOs Love Water: The USO Phenomenon

UFO sightings over water are extremely common. So common they have their own acronym: USO (Unidentified Submerged Object).

But they’re not just “over” the water. They go into it.

The Transmedium Phenomenon

In 2019, the U.S. Navy confirmed footage of UFOs that:

  • Flew through the air at impossible speeds
  • Dove into the ocean without slowing down
  • Moved underwater at speeds that defy physics
  • Emerged from the water and flew away

This is confirmed by the U.S. Navy. They call it “transmedium” travel—objects that move seamlessly between air and water.

No known human technology can do this.

A plane hitting water at 500 mph would disintegrate. But these objects don’t. They just… slip in. Like the water isn’t even there.

The Nimitz Encounter (2004)

Off the coast of San Diego, Navy pilots encountered a UFO that dropped from 60,000 feet to sea level in seconds, hovered above the water, dove underwater, and reappeared miles away instantly.

But here’s the kicker: There was something under the water, too.

The USS Princeton tracked a disturbance beneath the surface—something large, moving in coordination with the object in the air.

Translation: There was something underwater, and the UFO went to meet it.

Puerto Rico UAP (2013)

Homeland Security filmed a UAP off Puerto Rico that flew at low altitude, split into two objects, dove into the ocean, continued moving underwater at 90+ mph, and emerged on the other side of the island.

90 mph underwater.

For context: The fastest human submarine tops out at 46 mph. This object was moving twice that speed. Underwater. Without creating a wake.

What can do that?

Why the Ocean Makes Perfect Sense

If you were an advanced civilization trying to hide on Earth, where would you go?

Not space. Too visible. Every telescope, satellite, and radar would spot you.

Not land. 8 billion humans everywhere. Cities, farms, roads, satellites watching 24/7.

The ocean? Perfect.

  • 95% unexplored
  • Pitch black below 3,000 feet
  • Crushing pressure keeps humans out
  • Sonar is limited
  • Vast, empty, deep

You could hide an entire civilization down there, and nobody would know.

Build your bases in the deep trenches. Use underwater caves. Exploit the thermal vents for energy. Move at night when human ships are rare.

And if you need to leave? Just fly up, transmedium travel, and vanish into the sky.

Ancient Legends Knew

Every ancient culture has myths about beings that came from the water.

  • Sumeria: The Apkallu—fish-like beings that emerged from the ocean and taught humans civilization.
  • Babylon: Oannes, a half-man, half-fish creature that came from the sea to teach writing, law, and agriculture.
  • Greece: Triton, Poseidon, Nereids—gods and beings that lived underwater.
  • Japan: The Kappa—water-dwelling creatures that interacted with humans.
  • Polynesia: Legends of underwater cities and beings who lived beneath the waves.
  • The Bible: Leviathan—a massive sea creature described in terrifying detail.

Every culture. Every continent. Same story: Beings came from the water.

Were they myths? Or memories?

The Atlantis Question

What if Atlantis wasn’t a lost civilization of humans?

Plato described Atlantis as a powerful, advanced society that sank into the ocean around 9,600 BC. Most historians dismiss it as allegory.

But what if it wasn’t? What if Atlantis was real—but not human? What if it didn’t “sink” but descended intentionally?

What if they’re still there?

Underwater Structures

We’ve found weird things underwater:

  • Yonaguni Monument (Japan): Massive underwater structure with straight edges, right angles, and carved steps.
  • Bimini Road (Bahamas): Underwater rock formation that looks like a road.
  • Cuban Underwater City: Sonar images from 2001 showed what looked like pyramids and structures 2,000 feet deep. Further investigation was… quietly dropped.
  • Baltic Sea Anomaly: A 200-foot circular object on the ocean floor that looks artificial. Sonar equipment fails near it.

Are these natural? Maybe. Or maybe we’re looking at the ruins of something we don’t understand.

What If They Never Left?

Here’s the theory nobody wants to say out loud:

What if Earth has always had two dominant species?

Humans on land. Something else in the ocean.

We evolved on the surface. They evolved—or arrived—underwater. We never met because we live in different environments.

Until now.

With nuclear submarines, deep-sea exploration, and sonar mapping, we’re finally entering their territory. And they’re noticing.

The Navy Knows Something

Why did the U.S. Navy suddenly start acknowledging UAPs in 2019? After decades of denial, they suddenly admit: “Yes, these things are real. Yes, pilots see them. Yes, they defy physics.”

Why now?

Because the encounters are increasing.

Navy pilots report seeing UAPs near aircraft carriers regularly. Submarines report sonar contacts that move at impossible speeds.

And most of these encounters happen near or over water.

The Navy isn’t releasing this information to be transparent. They’re releasing it because they can’t hide it anymore.

The Uncomfortable Truth

We live on a water planet. 71% ocean. 95% unexplored.

We’ve spent billions exploring space. We’ve sent rovers to Mars, probes to Jupiter, telescopes to the edge of the universe.

But we barely look down.

Why? Maybe because space is safe. It’s empty. Far away. No chance of finding something that challenges our understanding.

The ocean? That’s here. That’s now. That’s accessible.

And if there’s something down there—something intelligent, something advanced, something that’s been here longer than us—

What does that mean?

It means we’re not alone. It means we never were. It means humanity isn’t the dominant species on this planet.

We’re just the ones on the surface.

The Real Question

Arthur C. Clarke was right. This planet should be called Ocean.

And if 71% of the planet is water, and we’ve explored less than 5% of it—

Who really owns this planet?

The species that lives on 29% of the surface? Or the species that lives in the other 71%?

We named it Earth. But it’s not ours. It’s Ocean.

And we’re just visiting.

Somewhere, in the dark, crushing depths of the Pacific Trench, something is moving. Something that’s been there long before humans walked upright. Something that doesn’t need our permission. Something that’s been watching.

And it’s still there. Waiting.
