From SpaceX to Tesla, it seems like he is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible. However, this week has raised some questions about the consistency of his brand. Recently, he banned an account that tracked his private jet and then suspended an open-source competitor from the service on Thursday afternoon. This raises many questions about whether or not his behavior is consistent with the message he has been sending out for years. This does not seem like free speach to us.

The incident began when Musk’s team blocked a Twitter account called “@elonmuskjet” which was created to track his private jet movements. Although it was unclear why exactly this account was banned, some speculated that it could be related to privacy concerns. After the ban, Mastodon (@joinmastodon) tweeted a link to the jet tracking account on its own service before being suspended from Twitter shortly thereafter. This led many to believe that this suspension was in retaliation for the tweet linking to the jet tracking account.

The incident raises questions about Elon Musk’s behavior as a tech leader and whether or not this kind of censorship is consistent with what we have come to expect from him as an innovator and entrepreneur. It also casts doubt on whether he will remain true to his ideals or if he will succumb to the same behavior seen in other tech elites who often use their power and influence to censor those they disagree with or find inconvenient.

This isn’t the first time that Elon Musk has been accused of using his influence in questionable ways, either. Years ago, he came under fire after he suggested taking Tesla private via Twitter without providing any evidence or documentation for such a move. He also faced criticism for attacking journalists online and accusing them of having ulterior motives when reporting on Tesla’s performance or other issues relating to its operations. While some people defended him by saying that these were just misguided attempts at humor, others argued that such behavior was unprofessional and inconsistent with how a tech leader should behave online.

As one of the world’s most prominent figures, Elon Musk’s actions have had far-reaching implications for how tech leaders are perceived by their peers and by the general public alike. His recent actions have raised serious concerns about whether his behavior is to promote free speech.

Elon Musk is known for his ambitious and innovative projects.
