I don’t know about you, but lately, I’ve been noticing that Joe Biden looks an awful lot like Vecna from Stranger Things. I mean, just take a look at the two pictures side-by-side and tell me I’m crazy. Am I the only one who sees the resemblance? Or is the similarity the US turning into The Upside Down world?

Of course, the idea that Joe Biden is secretly a demogorgon from the Upside Down is just a conspiracy theory (albeit a very convincing one). But there’s no denying that something strange is going on with our current president. In just a few short months, he has managed to turn the American economy upside down. Americans are losing money and paying more for goods. To many of us, going to the store and paying bills feels like a trip to the Upside Down. Many Americans seem to be becoming traumatized victims that Vecna can use sad and angry memories to draw from. With each victim, he can become gradually more powerful.

So what will it take to get the underworld to stop creeping into our American dream? That’s a question I don’t have an answer to. In Stranger Things, it takes a band of brave kids working together to defeat Vecna and save their town from the Upside Down. In real life, it might take something similar. We need brave leaders who are willing to stand up to Joe Biden and fight for what’s right. Only time will tell if we’re up to the task. Only then can we hope to stop him before he destroys everything we hold dear.

We need our government officials to start making smarter decisions to get out of this mess. We need the president of the United States to stop acting like Vecna and start acting like a leader. Only then will we be able to get out of this Upside Down and start rebuilding our American dream.

The global pandemic has profoundly affected the economy, and our leadership seems to continue to stack on to a downfall. We must start looking out for working families struggling to make ends meet. Only then can we begin to rebuild our American dream and get out of this upside-down economy.
