Don’t know about y’all but for me as a taxpayer, when we have roads that need fixing, kids who need to be kept safe, & parks that need maintenance…I pretty much want somebody to “do something!” pic.twitter.com/XUQObDqQJC

We blasted a Tennessee wannabe politician because it sounds like she doesn’t get it. It’s probably not her fault. Most politicians have been classically trained to be useless.
All too often, they enact complicated policies that benefit themselves and their cronies while making life harder for everyone else. This self-serving behavior is one of the biggest reasons why so many people have lost faith in the political process. When politicians focus on enriching themselves instead of doing what’s best for the people they’re supposed to represent, it’s no wonder that cynicism and mistrust are common.
If our elected officials would start acting with common sense and serving the public good instead of their own selfish interests, perhaps we could begin to rebuild some of that lost trust.
So instead of resume building “doing something” policies, let’s just see a little common sense.
