Watchdogs are very troubled with big tech and its censorship protocol.

Amazon swiftly took Parler off its hosting service, Twitter and Facebook have removed the President of the United States from its platforms. This action has concerned the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The ACLU is an advocate to protected African American rights.

The ACLU’s senior legislative counsel Kate Ruane stated, “it should concern everyone when companies like Facebook and Twitter wield the unchecked power to remove people from platforms that have become indispensable for the speech of billions — especially when political realities make those decisions easier.”

Newsweek has also condemned big tech’s overreach to silence dissenting opinions. This is a slippery slope to censorship.
